Dr. Blakely Low-Scott

Welcome! My name is Blakely, and I am a counseling and sport psychologist.  I enjoy working with elite athletes, athletic personnel, high performers, and organizations in the pursuit of their best performances.

I have worked in private practice and consulting for the past four years, and I previously served as the peak performance sport psychologist for the University of South Carolina and as the Assistant Director for Clinical and Sport Psychology at the University of Arkansas.  I work with elite athletes, collegiate athletes, professional athletes, and Olympians to help them further their athletic achievements and enhance their overall competitive experiences.

I am excited to provide a full range of performance and psychology services to my hometown of San Antonio and the community where I fell in love with athletics as well!  While my practice will be based in Texas, I am also able to provide peak performance work for clients based in other states and psychotherapy services to clients in PSYPACT member states.  I am also listed as a mental health provider on the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee registry.

Personally, I am a former collegiate soccer player (Go Davidson!), I was the San Antonio Express News Player of the Year as a high school athlete at Alamo Heights, and I have worked in the Big 12, Big 10, Patriot League, and SEC (East and West) conferences through various jobs over the years.  I am a certified yoga instructor and I have training in the provision of biofeedback. I enjoy drawing from various disciplines and experiences to teach mindfulness, breathing, and focus.  I am also the mother of a very active toddler!
